Appraisal Institute Debuts New and Improved Residential Education Offering

National -

CHICAGO (March 4, 2021) – RealEstateRama – The Appraisal Institute on Feb. 22 debuted a new and improved education offering, “Appraising Condos, Co-ops, and PUDs.”

“Appraising Condos, Co-ops, and PUDs” is a 7-hour education offering that previously premiered online. This seminar builds the foundation for the discussion on appraising residential properties in community associations, and helps examines the four specific groups of community organizations: condominiums, cooperatives, planned unit developments and condominium hotels.

The seminar addresses the following questions:

  • Why it is necessary to know how to identify the property type;
  • Why it is important to have a full understanding of the governing documents;
  • Why the property location must be understood; and
  • Why it is critical to analyze the market.

The seminar also examines how condominiums, cooperatives and PUDs fit in the valuation process, and how the bundle of rights is affected by the ownership rights associated with these property types.

The next virtual offering is March 19 and will be hosted by the Appraisal Institute Tennessee Chapter. Learn more and register here.
