Appraisal Institute Seeks Speakers for 2020 Annual Conference
CHICAGO – RealEstateRama – The Appraisal Institute, the nation’s largest professional association of real estate appraisers, is accepting proposals for presentations at its 2020 Annual Conference, Aug. 3-5, at the JW Marriott in Orlando, Florida. The deadline is 5 p.m. CST Nov. 25.
Attendees of previous AI Annual Conferences said they were particularly interested in these topics:
- Client and user needs;
- Best practices for business;
- Appraisal data and technology issues;
- Sustainability in real estate;
- Residential practices and issues;
- Market analysis;
- International valuation;
- Property rights issues;
- Litigation support;
- Supervisor/trainee education; and
- Valuation of cannabis operations and dispensaries.
“The Appraisal Institute looks forward to offering timely and informative sessions at its 2020 Annual Conference, and we’re excited to receive cutting-edge presentation proposals,” said Appraisal Institute President Stephen S. Wagner, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS. “For the first time, Annual Conference education sessions will be approved for continuing education credit in all 50 states.”

Attendees of the 2020 Appraisal Institute Annual Conference, with its theme of “Rising to the Challenge,” will experience informative speakers, first-rate educational sessions, exhibits of the latest valuation products and services, opportunities to connect with colleagues from the U.S. and abroad, an awards ceremony, off-site events and other chances to explore Orlando.
