WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — The House passed the “Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act” (WIIN) by a vote of 360-61. Provisions from the House Committee on Natural Resources included in the bill will bring drought relief for California and the West, by expanding water storage and delivery, and bring forth long-term water resolutions to Indian reservations. Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) issued the following statement:
“We have communities that have been suffering for a long time. Our job is to help people. Passing this bipartisan legislation is a critical step toward addressing dire water needs for California, Utah, many other western states, and tribal and rural communities.”
