Economist Brings Two Decades of Experience to CBRE
Los Angeles, CA – April 21, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) today announced the appointment of Asieh Mansour, PhD, as Head of Americas Research and Senior Managing Director of Global Research and Consulting. In this role, Ms. Mansour will direct CBRE’s Americas based commercial real estate market analysts, advise the Americas leadership and professionals on economic issues, serve as a key spokesperson on the commercial real estate environment and work closely with her CBRE research colleagues around the world. She brings more than 20 years experience as a leading real estate economist to CB Richard Ellis.

Most recently, Ms. Mansour was a Managing Director and Head of Americas Research for RREEF. While there, Ms. Mansour served as the global macroeconomist, supporting investment and acquisition decisions for real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. She was also responsible for analyzing the global economy and its effect on RREEF’s fund offerings and strategies. Throughout her tenure at RREEF, she played a key role in advising clients around the world on the strategic aspects of investing in real estate from a macro and micro economic perspective.
Ms. Mansour will serve as a member of the Americas Operating Management Board, and will report directly to Mr. Lafitte while also working closely with Dr. Raymond Torto, CBRE’s Global Chief Economist, on global research initiatives.

Prior to joining RREEF in 1998, Ms. Mansour was senior regional economist with Standard & Poors’ DRI where she was responsible for covering real estate markets and regional economies throughout the US. She is also the author of numerous applied research works on commercial real estate issues and was awarded two manuscript prizes from the American Real Estate Society for published work. Ms. Mansour serves as a board director of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries and also as President of the Real Estate Research Institute. She holds a PhD in economics from Tufts University where she also received her M.A. and B.A. in Economics.
Ms. Mansour will join CBRE on May 9 and will be based in the Company’s San Francisco office.
