CBRE TAMPA WELCOMES NEW RETAIL MARKET SPECIALIST
Paul Rutledge brings 30 years of Florida retail leasing and marketing experience
Tampa, FL – October 6, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — CBRE is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Rutledge, First Vice President, to CBRE’s retail brokerage group in Tampa. In this role, Mr. Rutledge, most recently at Casto Southeast Realty Services, will specialize in representing institutional quality owners, occupiers of retail real estate, as well as developments.

Mr. Rutledge is a highly regarded leader in the retail segment throughout Florida. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Casto Southeast Realty Services LLC, where he had such responsibilities as overseeing Casto’s leasing activities in Florida along with the development and redevelopment of projects for the company. He also initiated the 3rd party business, including tenant representation and development consulting. His experience within the retail sector boasts tenure with some of the industry’s most respected owners, including Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, Aegis Realty (REIT) and Trammell Crow Company.
Mr. Rutledge has conceived, designed and overseen development of over 2 million square feet of retail and has been involved in the acquisition of more than $150 million in retail property in 14 states. His existing project list features some the state’s most recognizable retail properties such as Winter Haven Citi Centre, Pompano Citi Centre, Paseo Luxury Apartments at Winter Park Village and 10 Publix Supermarkets locations in the Miami-Dade County metro area.
Mr. Rutledge holds numerous certifications including Senior Certified Leasing Specialist, Shopping Center Senior Manager and Certified Retail Property Executive. He is a past board member of the Florida Redevelopment Association and served as the State Operations Chairman for the Florida International Council of Shopping Centers along with being past Chairman of the Florida ICSC Conference. His past achievements and awards include the Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce’s “Business of the Year,” Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce’s “Man of the Year,” National Research Bureau Retail Marketing Award and the American Planning Association Design Award.
