Incline Village, NV – April 14, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — With a firm footing in both the Lake Tahoe and the Reno real estate markets, Chase International realtor Sandi Solomonson was the perfect choice to discuss current housing trends on a regionally televised talk show. As a guest on Lawyers, Guns and Money, Solomonson’s television debut will be aired on Reno’s KRNV on April 24, 4:30 p.m., channel 4 and Tuesday, April 26, 10:30 p.m., channel 3.

When asked if she was nervous about the bright lights, cameras and queries of hosts Scott Freeman and Dave Houston, Solomonson said no. “I felt pretty comfortable and prepared,” she recalled, adding that her experience as a professional jazz singer helped her overcome any stage fright.

Lawyers, Guns and Money has been on the air for 16 years. The show focuses on current issues and people of interest to northern Nevadans. According to Karen Korcheck, the show’s executive producer, there is an emphasis on leaders who are working to positively benefit the overall community.

Solomonson said program viewers will learn about first-time home buying options in Reno, as well as the state of the luxury market at Lake Tahoe.

“We also discussed unknown options for sellers, such as seller financing, seller carry and lease opportunities,” Solomonson said. “Sellers can tap into a whole new group of buyers. There are many people whose homes have been foreclosed on who are working people with steady income who just can’t secure bank loans anytime soon due to their foreclosure history.”

As for the Lake Tahoe luxury market, Solomonson said she also discussed a recent Nevada Association of Realtors (NVAR) survey entitled The Face of Foreclosure.

“Twenty-three percent of those surveyed elected to walk away from their homes,” said Solomonson. “It’s called strategic default and the NVAR says this trend is expected to grow.”

Solomonson lives in Reno, but hangs her real estate hat in Incline Village at the Chase International office. “I am well-versed in both markets, which works to the benefit of my clients,” Solomonson said.

Solomonson serves on the Incline Village Board of Directors, as well as various NVAR statewide committees. People can also view Solomonson’s television show interview on her website www.inclinetahoeproperties.com. Sandi Solomonson can be reached directly at 775.315.1138 or ">.
