Climate-controlled storage facility under construction in Durham, North Carolina

JLL’s Project and Development Services Group is overseeing construction of the project

Durham, N.C. (Jan. 13, 2017) – (RealEstateRama) — A new climate controlled self-storage facility is under construction at 3302 Petty Rd in Durham, conveniently located to both Duke University and UNC Chapel Hill along Highway 15-501. JLL will oversee the construction of the project for the developer and owner, 3302 Petty Road, LLC.

Construction began in December 2016 and will be complete by the end of 2017. The four-story facility will feature 67,100 square feet of rentable space and approximately 785 climate-controlled units housed in a free-standing new construction building. Overcash Demmit Architects is the architect and Edifice General Contractors is the general contractor. CubeSmart will professionally manage the facility.
