Council Transportation Chair Rodriguez To Join Marble Hill Houses Residents Association and Lime to Address Need For Affordable, Sustainable Transportation Access

New York, NY – RealEstateRama – NYC Council Transportation Chair Ydanis Rodriguez and the Marble Hill Houses Residents Association will host a scooter demo with micromobility company, Lime on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill Houses in the Bronx. Council Member Rodriguez will address the challenge Marble Hill Houses residents face with a lack of nearby affordable transportation options for east-west travel and commuting to other areas of the Bronx.
Lime will provide a socially-distant scooter demo for Marble Hill Houses residents to learn to ride as NYC DOT moves closer to beginning its e-scooter pilot program. Lime’s Senior Director for Government Relations, Phil Jones, will be on hand to discuss Lime’s track record of support for communities underserved by public transit in New York City and beyond.
