DOS Holds a Public Meeting of the Board of Real Estate Appraisal on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.

New York, NY – October 21, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — The New York Department of State will hold a public meeting of the Board of Real Estate Appraisal on Friday, October 25, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at 99 Washington Avenue in Albany, 65 Court Street in Buffalo, and 123 William Street in New York City.

The Department’s Division of Licensing Services issues licenses to persons who conduct appraisals on real estate, and the Board of Real Estate Appraisal assists the Department in adopting rules and regulations relating to this discipline. The Department’s Board of Real Estate Appraisal is convening at the conclusion of the bi-annual audit conducted by the federal Appraisal Subcommittee. The meeting is open to the general public.
