MHP to Hold Annual Norman Christeller Golf Classic Fundraiser on June 12

MHP will hold the 2023 Norman Christeller Golf Classic on June 12 at Hampshire Greens Golf Course in Ashton, MD.  This annual tournament provided the initial funds needed to start MHP over 30 years ago, and today it continues to raise critical funding for MHP’s Community Life programs, which provide enrichment for children living in affordable housing properties in Montgomery County, MD and beyond.

The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments Thursday on a challenge to a federal decision allowing Utah to take tens of thousands of additional acre-feet of water each year from the Upper Colorado River Basin at the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam. The Interior Department’s 2019 decision failed to account for drought-induced climate warming.
