KCK CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW SENIOR HOUSING

KANSAS CITY – June 5, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — Officials from Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC); the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas; the Kansas City, Kansas Area Chamber of Commerce; and the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities on June 1st celebrated the grand opening of Pemberton Place, an active, independent living community for seniors. Previously a nursery and green house, Pemberton Place now boasts 80 new, affordable and market-rate units serving adults ages 55 and over.
