KTGY Wins Top Honors at SoCal Awards

Best Architectural Design and Community of the Year Awards

IRVINE, CALIF. – (RealEstateRama) — International award-winning KTGY Architecture + Planning is pleased to announce that KTGY’s excellence in residential design and planning has been recognized by the Building Industry Association’s Greater Sales and Marketing Council’s 2016 SoCal Awards program. Eight KTGY-designed communities received either award wins or finalist honors for the architectural design of single-family detached and multifamily for-sale residential communities, home plan and best community feature at the SoCal Awards ceremony held on Saturday, September 10th, at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. The SoCal Awards program honors the best in professional achievement, sales, marketing and design throughout the Southern California home building industry.

  • Upcoast in Costa Mesa, Calif. by Trumark Homes

AWARD: Detached Community of the Year under $1.5 Million
UpCoast in Costa Mesa is a collection of 28 California coastal contemporary single-family homes offering stunning roof top terraces minutes from the beach. Fiber cement siding, stone veneers and a cool color palette of grays, whites and earth tones, accentuated with pops of color, allow these stand out homes to reflect the calming nature of the coastal area. The Greater Sales and Marketing Council received nearly 500 entries for the SoCal Awards. Six industry professionals served as judges and reviewed digital materials, interviewed over 40 building professionals and visited 15 communities traveling 558 miles throughout Southern California before deciding on the award winners. Building Industry Association’s Greater Sales and Marketing Council
The Greater Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) is comprised of sales and marketing professionals in the homebuilding industry. The SMC is currently the largest and most viable council in the BIA.
