LA County Now Accepting Apple Pay for Building Permits

-

WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 23, 2014 – (RealEstateRama) — From multi-million dollar construction to adding a room onto a single-family home, paying for LA County building permits has never been easier, now that LA County Building and Safety offices accept payment through Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is an easy, secure, and private way to pay for products and services using Apple’s iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, Apple Watch, iPad Air 2, or iPad Mini 3. By simply holding one of these devices to a credit card terminal, then using Touch ID, Apple Pay uses the credit or debit card on file from the user’s iTunes Store account to make a purchase.

Dennis Hunter, LA County Public Works Deputy Director of Development Services, believes the acceptance of Apple Pay is just another step in the Department’s ongoing effort to enhance customer service.
“We’re continuing to provide our customers with access to innovative tools to make their customer experience with us more effective and efficient,” Hunter said. “For our customers, better means simple and convenient. Apple Pay is another exciting move in that direction.”

For more information about using Apple Pay for building permits or to get started using the County’s electronic building plan check system, visit the County Public Works website at www.dpw.lacounty.gov.
