The MBA Opens Doors Foundation (Opens Doors) today announced that it raised $187,200 during MBA’s annual Chairman’s Conference. As part of the proceeds raised, Pulte Cares, the charitable arm of the PulteGroup, presented the Foundation with a $75,000 gift. The funds raised will support the Foundation’s mission of providing mortgage and rental assistance to families with critically ill or injured children, allowing parents and guardians to be by a child’s side during treatment without fear of losing their home.

It was my honor to present the $75,000 donation on behalf of PulteGroup to the MBA Opens Doors Foundation,” said Debra W. Still, CMB, President and CEO of Pulte Mortgage and Chair of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation Board of Directors. “Furthermore, it was gratifying to see my industry colleagues join together and more than match our $75,000 contribution. Their dedication truly embodies the spirit of Opens Doors’ mission.”
The MBA Opens Doors Foundation, through its Home Grant Program, provides relief in a time of personal crisis. The Home Grant Program has become a critical part of a family’s support structure, especially when a parent or guardian must take unpaid leave to be with a child. Grants of up to $2,500 are made monthly to families in need of mortgage or rental payment assistance. The Foundation has provided more than $16 million in mortgage and rental payment assistance to nearly 10,000 families since its inception in 2011.
