WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 1, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — MISMO is proud to announce the first group of individuals to ever receive the Certified MISMO Standards Professionals (CMSP®) designation. These individuals have completed a rigorous process to achieve distinction as experts in the field of standards within the mortgage industry.
“MISMO plays an increasingly important role in the mortgage industry, and demonstrated expertise, by individuals, in the development and use of standards is therefore increasingly valued by everyone in the industry, from lenders to service providers to investors to government agencies,” said Richard Hill, Executive Vice President of MISMO. “These individuals are to be commended for their significant accomplishment. Earning the CMSP required each individual to demonstrate superior knowledge and skills with respect to MISMO standards.”
The CMSP is a new program recently launched by MISMO and was created in direct response to industry demands for skilled MISMO practitioners.The CMSP designation, along with the extensive supporting educational curriculum, ensures that individuals have the requisite ability to support, design and implement MISMO-based projects. The CMSP designation is the only MISMO certification program available for individuals within the mortgage industry.
