Stories on sources of finance from equity trading to crowd sourcing and the mortgage market and post-foreclosures are also topics eligible for entry in the NAREE competition. All work must be published, posted or aired in 2014. Stories must be published in English.
More than 80 awards — Gold, Silver and Bronze – will recognize excellence in digital, print and broadcast journalism. A Platinum Award for Best Overall Individual Entry will also be awarded. The Platinum winner will receive a $1,000 cash award. Best Freelance Collection winner will receive a $500 award.
