WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 7, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Gathering at the 83rd Annual Conference of Mayors in San Francisco at the end of June, over 270 mayors affirmed their support for YouthBuild as a critically important program in communities nationwide, and called for expansion of funding essential for reconnecting young people to education, work, and community service.

Sponsored by Newton, Massachusetts, Mayor Setti Warren, the resolution highlights YouthBuild as a key program across the country and abroad that helps low-income young people reclaim their education, gain skills needed for employment, and become leaders in their own communities.

We cannot have one more young person turned away from programs that can make a difference in their life due to a lack of funding.”
