The award, sponsored by Zip System/Advantech, honors excellence in multifamily housing development, financial performance, innovative development strategies and practices and successful achievement of the company’s vision and goals.
Founded in 2006, Pollack Shores currently manages a balanced portfolio of over 13,600 units representing in excess of $1.3 billion in total assets. In late 2014, Pollack Shores became part of a joint venture team hired by the Atlanta Braves to lead the development of a $400 million mixed-use complex near the team’s future home, SunTrust Park.
Pollack Shores strives to provide added value to their properties in the Southeast. One project of note developed in Orlando, Fla., dubbed STEEELHOUSE, required sensitive negotiations with several government entities and a local design committee. The City of Orlando wanted a landmark destination, so the company produced a transit-oriented design that incorporates a beautiful gallery and a walking and biking path, creating a community that is both high density and high quality.
