RE/MAX CEO to Address Hispanic Agent Gathering
Liniger is Keynote Speaker at Hispanic Real Estate Agent Event
DENVER – September 17, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — When 2,000 Hispanic real estate agents from around the country meet in Chicago next week, they will hear the views of industry trailblazer Dave Liniger, RE/MAX CEO. He is the featured speaker during Monday’s Keynote Luncheon at the annual conference of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). The industry association has 20,000 members and was founded in 1999.
“NAHREP is a truly influential organization in our industry, and I’m honored to be invited and participate as a keynote speaker,” said Liniger, CEO, Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder of RE/MAX, LLC. “Women and minorities have played a key role in the growth of RE/MAX and we respect the positive impact these professionals have created in their local communities.”
RE/MAX is a NAHREP Diamond Sponsor and many RE/MAX Affiliates are active in the organization. At the Keynote Luncheon, Liniger will be interviewed on stage by Daisy Lopez-Cid, Secretary of the Board of Directors and a Broker/Owner at RE/MAX Premier Properties in Kissimmee, Fla.
The RE/MAX commitment to NAHREP is reflected in the numerous RE/MAX attendees, organizers and presenters. Included among conference speakers are Rachel Castillo, RE/MAX Unlimited, Luigi Corral, RE/MAX United and Luis Padilla, RE/MAX Oceanside Realty. Additionally, several executives from RE/MAX World Headquarters will be in attendance, including President Geoff Lewis.
“It’s great to have RE/MAX and so many of its agents involved with NAHREP. Their presence adds to our growing influence and ability to make a difference in the profession we all love,” said Gary Acosta, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
Each year, NAHREP publishes a Top 250 ranking of Latino agents, a report based on the number of residential transaction sides completed in a year. In 2015, RE/MAX agents represented nearly 25% of all the recognized agents. Many of these agents will be in attendance at the Chicago Hilton Downtown.
According to the “2014 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report,” there are nearly 7 million Hispanic-owner U.S. households. As this number grows, the impact on the housing industry will increase. RE/MAX has a proven commitment to serving minority communities, and for the past seven years in a row has been named a Top 50 Best Franchise for Minorities by the World Franchising Network.
