SACRAMENTO HOUSING AUTHORITY OPENS PUBLIC HOUSING SITE BASED WAIT LIST AT WALNUT GROVE APARTMENTS
Sacramento, CA – (RealEstateRama) — The Housing Authority of County of Sacramento will open the wait list for the Site Based Public Housing List for Walnut Grove Apartments in Walnut Grove on Monday October 16, 2017 at 12:01 a.m. until Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. This property consists of 3-bedroom units typically for a household size of 3-6 people.
Interested persons must visit the property at 14215 Grove Street in Walnut Grove to determine if the location and amenities are suitable. If the family decides to apply, they must use the access code on the front property sign. Apply online at www.sacwaitlist.com. Applicants can use any device with internet access to complete the application. A confirmation receipt is issued immediately after the application is submitted. There is no cost to apply for housing and a credit report is not needed to apply. However, Sacramento Housing Authority officials caution applicants not to use any other website to apply for the wait list. A number of websites charge fees to submit an application and may require personal information such as social security numbers or debit/credit card information to apply for assistance. These websites falsely claim that this information is needed for a credit check to submit an application to the waitlist.
This is a scam and could lead to possible identity theft. Housing Authority officials advise that the best way to find the correct website to fill out the application is to type www.sacwaitlist.com directly into the website address bar usually located at the top left of the browser on the computer screen.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The application submission process is supported in the following browsers:
Google Chrome, FireFox, and Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and Safari. The application can be completed using iPhone, Android and iPad mobile devices.
Wait list preference is given to families who have a veteran family member, or displaced by natural disaster recognized by the Federal government
A total of 250 applicants will be placed on the wait through random selection after the wait list has closed.
The Housing Authority of the County of Sacramento’s housing programs serve very low income families and individuals. Eligible families will receive rental assistance as funds are available. Fingerprint criminal background checks are conducted on all adults applying for housing.
