South Dakota Housing Hosting Public Meeting Regarding Community Development Programs
WASHINGTON, D.C. – RealEstateRama – South Dakota Housing (SDH), in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, will be hosting a public meeting on Feb. 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. CST, to accept comments on the drafts of the 2025 Annual Action Plan and the Citizen Participation Plan.
A planning document, the Annual Action Plan, serves as a guideline for how the $12.5 million of HUD funds from the Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant, Housing Trust Fund and HOME Investment Partnership programs will be allocated for the upcoming plan year. The Citizen Participation Plan outlines how citizens are provided opportunities to participate in the planning, implementation, and assessment of the programs and projects that utilize HUD program funds.
A public meeting to accept comments will be held on Feb. 25, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Central Time at SDH, 3060 E. Elizabeth Street, Pierre. This session will also be available via Microsoft Teams.
