WASHINGTON – (RealEstateRama) — Granger MacDonald, chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a home builder and developer from Kerrville, Texas, issued the following statement on House passage of association health plan legislation:
“NAHB commends the House for passing association health plan legislation. By providing the ability to create pooling arrangements across state lines, the bill would ensure a level playing field for smaller firms that want to help their workers and their families with their health care needs. This market-based health care option is a cost-effective way for small businesses to offer their employees quality health coverage. We urge the Senate to move quickly on this issue.”
