“The fact that the Supreme Court decided to enter this debate is another example of how the “waters of the U.S.” rule lacks any clarity for the regulated community. We hope policymakers come together to devise a practical, common-sense solution to protecting our nation’s waterways while taking into account the interests of local businesses and communities nationwide.”
