The MTA In The Era of COVID-19
New York, NY – RealEstateRama – Tomorrow, February 10th, Transportation Chairman Ydanis Rodriguez will be holding a Transportation Committee Oversight Hearing regarding the MTA in the era of COVID-19. During the height of the pandemic, ridership declined as much as 90 percent leaving the MTA in an economic crisis. The MTA Chairman, Pat Foye will be testifying before the council and discussing the current state of our city’s public transportation system. The committee hopes to discuss various topics related to overnight cleaning operations, the current status of toll and fare increases, zoning for transit accessibility, the resuming of 24/7 train services, and homelessness, among other topics.
