USE OF CONSENSUSDOCS CONTRACTS CONTINUES TO GROW AS PASKR NOW OFFERS THE CONTRACTS WITHIN ITS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Software Firm’s Decision Is Yet Another Sign that ConsensusDOCS Contracts are the New Preferred Standard for Construction Contract Documents
WASHINGTON, DC – November 30, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Responding to customers’ interest to use ConsensusDOCS, Paskr now offers several ConsensusDOCS standard contracts within its project management software. ConsensusDOCS subscribers will now be able to access seven documents from within the Paskr software.
“This is yet another sign that a growing number of private sector, public agencies and business associations are using ConsensusDOCS contracts,” said Brian Perlberg, executive director of ConsensusDOCS.
“Paskr is a document portal that utilizes the technology of the internet to bring teams together and deliver, share and execute the documents. Utilizing Paskr to deliver ConsensusDOCS contracts provides a state of the art tool that the industry has been begging for,” states Pat Whalen, president of Paskr.
The new arrangement with Paskr follows a number of other recent developments highlighting growing support for ConsensusDOCS, Perlberg noted. For example, the number of organizations participating in ConsensusDOCS has grown from 30 at the beginning of 2011 to 35 today. The number of ConsensusDOCS users continues to grow despite a depressed construction economy. In Ohio, a new $4.4 million, 17,500-square-foot Capital Park Family Health Center opened on Oct. 19 and “employed the industry-endorsed ConsensusDOCS contracts to efficiently assemble and lead a design and construction team that delivered a cutting-edge, dispute-free project for us and for the community,” commented Joy Parker, RN, CEO, Capital Park Family Health Center.
ConsensusDOCS and Paskr will continue to work together to incorporate the complete library of 90+ ConsensusDOCS contract documents within the Paskr project management software, Perlberg added.
ConsensusDOCS contracts are the only industry standard contracts written by 35 leading design and construction industry organizations. Offering a catalog of 90+ contract documents covering all methods of project delivery, ConsensusDOCS contracts incorporate fair risk allocation and best practices to represent the project’s best interests.
